Inspired by DOLE Salads. SUPERFOOD INGREDIENT: Broccoli. Raw broccoli provides high amounts of energizing vitamin C and bone-beneficial vitamin K. Also, its hearty mix of vitamin K and vitamin A (beta-carotene) may improve the absorbency of vitamin D!
- 4 Tablespoons tahini
- 3 Tablespoons 100% apple juice
- 1 Tablespoon honey or agave
- 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 package (14 ounces) DOLE Classic Coleslaw, chopped
- 3 cups broccoli, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup minced red onion (about 1/2 of a medium red onion)
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- Whisk tahini, juice, honey, vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Toss with remaining ingredients.
